On 7 Jul 1687; a report on the inquest into the death of William Bradford was presented to the Plymouth County Court of General Session and Common Pleas. The committee reported "that he being Driving of his Cart and his Cartt overturned upon him and gave him a violent blow upon his head and back which blow we Judge was the Cause of his Death".

16. WILLIAM6 BRADFORD (William5, William4, William3, William2, William1) was born before 18 Dec 1686 at Plymouth. He married Elizabeth Finney, daughter of Josiah Finney and Elizabeth Warren, on 18 Nov 1712 at Plymouth. He died on 9 Mar 1729 at Kingston.
On on 23 Apr 1687; his grandfather, William Bradford, in consideration of the natural love he bears for his grandchild William Bradford, only son of his son William Bradford deceased, gave to the grandson one parcel of upland on which his son built his house "Given unto me from my father William Bradford Esqr." Before acknowleding the deed on 4 Sept. 1696, William added a paragraph saying that when his grandson William reached the age of 21, he "shall enjoy the lands without Interruption". He William, Alice, and Sarah Bradford, children of William Bradford Jr. late of Plymouth deceased, chose "their uncle Mr. Joseph Bartlett and Mr. Nathaniel Warren" as guardians on 18 Dec 1700. He John Bradford, Samuel Bradford, Israel Bradford, Ephraim Bradford, David Bradford, and Hezekiah Bradford all of Plymouth County, gave their right in a cedar swamp to their knsman William Bradford, son of their brother William Bradford deceased (this deed was not acknowledged until 26 March 1747) on 29 Oct 1709.

17. SARAH6 BRADFORD (William5, William4, William3, William2, William1) was born circa 1686. She married Jonathan Barnes, son of Jonathan Barnes and Elizabeth Hedge, circa 1708 at Plymouth. She died on 17 Apr 1718 at Plymouth.
On 9 May 1709; at a town meeting Jonathan Barnes Jr. was granted a house lot. On 1 March 1723/4 he was chosen as a hog reeve, on 20 March 1731/2 as a juror, on 20 March 1731/2 as a juror, on 4 March 1710/1 as a leather sealer, and on 31 March 1735 as a tythingman. On 13 Dec 1709; Jonathan and Sarah Barnes sold to William Barnes their half interest in the land inherited by Sarah Barnes and her sister Alice from their grandfather Benjamin Bartlett. On 13 Dec 1711; at a town meeting it was voted "That aney of the Inhabitants of the Town who shall betwixt this and the next town meeting subscribe their names To the Instrument shall have liberty to plant oysters in aney such place or places within sd bay as they shall Judg most likely for the groath and Increase of oysters." Jonathan Barns Jr. signed this document. In Dec 1720; at the Court of Common Pleas, Samuel Clarke of Plymouth, weaver, sued Jonathan Barnes of Plymouth, whale fisherman, "for a ninth Part of what a Certain Whale Boat whereof the said Clarke was part owner cleared in 2 Voyages at North Carolina". In Sep 1729; At the Court of Common Pleas, James Warren of Plymouth, Gentleman, sued Jonathan Barnes of Plymouth, whale fisherman, claiming that James was due a share after "Deft. Shipped the Plant's [Plaintiff's] Indian man Servant Named Sion Hood to Go with him on a whale voyage to North Carolina (he Being Stearman of a Boat Crew) assumeing to pay or allow the Plant for his said Servant a whole Share According to Custome. ... the Effects of said voyage being Disposed of and the accompts of the whole voyage being made up," but James said that Jonathan had not paid him. On 27 Dec 1736; Thomas Doane of Chatham, mariner, was appointed administrator on the estate of his father-in-law Jonathan Barnes late of Plymouth, seafaring man, deceased, but on 10 March 1740 Stephen Churchill Jr. cooper of Plymouth, and Joseph Smith, seafaring man of Plymouth, petitioned that a new administrator be appointed for the estate of their father-in-law Jonathan Barnes of Plymouth because Thomas was "almost always at sea and has now gone to Holland". On 21 Jan 1772; Ebenezer Phinney of Barnstable and his wife Rebecca sold land that fell to them from their father Jonathan Barnes.

18. SARAH7 BRADFORD (William6, William5, William4, William3, William2, William1) was born on 15 Dec 1718 at Plymouth. She married Zephaniah Holmes, son of Nathaniel Holmes and Joanna Clark, on 23 Jan 1738/39 at Plymouth, Massachusetts. She died on 4 Apr 1794 at Plymouth, Massachusetts, at age 75.
On 27 Dec 1739; Zephaniah Holmes of Plymouth, cordwainer, and his wife Sarah sold to John Adams land in Kingston from the estate of her father William Bradford. On 15 Jul 1778; Sarah Holmes, widow of Plymouth, was appoiinted administratrix on the estate of Elizabeth Bradford late of Plymouth, widow, Elizabeth Bradford, having received permission to sell land to pay debts, sold Elizabeth's part of a dwelling house.

19. JERUSHA7 BRADFORD (William6, William5, William4, William3, William2, William1) was born on 20 Dec 1722 at Plymouth. She married Edward Sparrow on 16 Apr 1741 at Plymouth, Massachusetts. She married Josiah Carver, son of Josiah Carver and Dorothy Coole, on 22 Jan 1746/47 at Middleborough, Massachusetts. She died on 23 Apr 1820 at Middleborough at age 97; in 98th year.
On 23 May 1742; Jerusha Sparrow, wife of Edward, joined the Plymouth Church. Both Josiah and Jerusha Carver were listed as members of the church on 30 jan 1760, and in 1771 they were both dismissed to the Church of Christ in Wareham. She Edward Sparrow of Plymouth, mariner, and wife Jerusha sold to Thomas Adams land received from her father William Bradford on 14 Nov 1743. On 5 Jun 1745; Jerusha Sparrow of Plymouth, widow of Edward late of Plymouth deceased, gave her bond as administratrix of his estate. On 27 April 1747 Jerusha Carver, late Jerusha Sparrow, reported that the estate was insolvent. At the May 1747 term of the Court of Common Pleas, Richard Waite of Plymouth, mariner, brought suit against Josiah Carver Jr. of Plymouth, blacksmith, and his wife Jerusha, administors of the estate of Edward Sparrow, for a debt. Josiah and Jerusha pleaded that the estate was insolvent.

20. JOSIAH7 BRADFORD (William6, William5, William4, William3, William2, William1) was born 29 Mar poss. 1724 at Plymouth, Massachusetts. Marriage banns for he and Hannah Rider were published on 3 May 1746 at Plymouth. He married Hannah Rider, daughter of Samuel Rider and Mary Sylvester, on 6 Nov 1746 at Plymouth, Massachusetts. He died on 26 Apr 1777 at Plymouth.
He was adopted on 21 May 1741. On on 23 May 1742; Josiah Bradford became a member of the Plymouth Church and was listed as a member on 30 Jan 1760. On 26 Oct 1777, Hannah Bradford, widow of Josiah, was admitted to the church. On 17 Apr 1745; Josiah Bradford of Plymouth, cordwainer, sold to Thomas Adams of Kingston, mariner, four acres from the division of William Bradford's estate. On 20 Oct 1749; Josiah Bradford of Plymouth, cordwainer, sold to James Cobb Jr. of Kingston, seafaring man, 21 acres in Kingston from the estate of William Bradford. On 10 Jan 1757; Josiah Bradford and family were warned from Middleborough. In 1763 Josiah Bradford and family, from Middleborough, were waned from Plymouth. On 16 Aug 1759; Elizabeth Bradford, widow, and Josiah Bradford, cordwainer, both of Middleborough sold to Thomas Adams land and garden set off to Elizabeth as her dower, now in the actual improvement of Thomas. On 22 Nov 1770; Josiah Bradford of Plymouth, mariner, and his wife Hannah, with other heirs of Samuel Rider, sold to Consider Barden of Middleborough, husbandman, four ninth parts of 21-1/2 acres. He In the 1771 Valuation List, Josiah Bradford appears in Plymouth with 2 polls, and half of a shop. William Bradford is listed next to him. On 21 Dec 1772; Elizabeth Bradford of Plymouth, widow, sold land to son Josiah Bradford which "was quit claimed to me and my two sisters by our Brothers Josiah Finney and John Finney".
